Children of politically persecuted families continue to face discrimination, disrupted schooling, social exclusion, and emotional trauma. These children are not responsible for their parents’ views, affiliations, or beliefs, yet they are the ones who suffer the consequences.
No child should be pushed into hardship because of politics. No child’s future should be shaped by fear, stigma, or punishment for circumstances beyond their control. Children’s rights are not conditional. They are universal, and they must be upheld everywhere, without exception.
On #WorldChildrensDay, we must recognize the invisible children who are overlooked in political conflicts. Every child deserves dignity, safety, stability, and a fair chance to thrive, no matter who their parents are.”
