From an article titled "The New Human" by Fethullah Gülen that presents his concept of a "new man and woman" for a coming age characterized by belief and moral values. Gülen envisions these individuals as balancing reason and experience with conscience and inspiration, striving for perfection and a harmony between worldly and spiritual life. He emphasizes their independence, integrity, and commitment to truth, utilizing modern means while upholding traditional values. These individuals will possess profound spirituality, knowledge, and altruism, seeing science and religion as unified paths to understanding God and actively working for a better future. Written in 1991(Yeni insan) originally appeared in Zamanin Altin Dilimi[The Golden Slice of Time], Kaynak, Izmir, 1998, pp. 57-160.
