Permission to Fight & the Rationally thinking Heart (Surah al-Hajj, Verses 39-46)

For the first time, permission to fight has been granted to the persecuted community of believers with the main reasons highlighted (defending their religious right and protecting all places of worship). The Surah continues to console the Prophet about previous prophets being also belied and denied. God’s signs are laid out so openly, only if humans had “hearts with which they can think rationally and ears to listen with”.
